Not sure it was worth the price,
March 4, 2009 This review is from: Stainless Steel Urn Fire Pit (Lawn & Patio)
The fire pit was easy to assemble and looked nice fresh from the box.
Although it does not look quite as sturdy as the one pictured.
Also, after a couple of fires and a few months outside it has started to get some rust on it.
I think the product is good, but I've seen similar items at Wal-Mart for half the price. If I had it to do over again, I would probably have purchased one of those.

Nice Firepit in a package of frustration!,
April 14, 2011 This review is from: Stainless Steel Urn Fire Pit (Lawn & Patio)
Ok, the package got me with a quickness and it is most definately adequate for burning things in, what i have a problem with is the packing and hardware.
First, the instruction book says 30 min assembly, well with no washers among the hardware im sure itll be about 30 minutes before ill have to RE-assemble it.
Second, the hardware was not in a bag, but preset in all the holes for it. Sure, you say, YAY! now i dont have to figure out where those 8 screws go, but there is a real downside It seems like the whole pit was covered with rustoleum, then the screws were placed so its like they were glued into the holes. That caused such a problem, I had to use my dremmel to make the phillips head screws flat blade type screws to get them out.
So, all in all, not a bad pit. I had a lot of fun throwing wood and blowing smoke and embers on my friend and wife, but it was a pretty big headache getting it together and I look forward to looking for the unwashered bolts in my yard.
