When we first put it together, it seemed very small but we went ahead and used it. It holds a couple of wood logs and it does do the job (our grandkids had their smores!). I would recommend this fire pit if you travel with it and want to store it in limited space. It is also convenient that it folds flat. The price is a bit high, but it does look like it is made well and it should last a long time. We are happy with this purchase. While it's a nice design and should work great now that I've repaired it, I would not recommend it to anyone not patient and handy with a screw driver and pliers. When I opened the box two of the legs were falling off. Fortunately I found the screws and nuts in the bottom of the box. I spent time putting it back together. In the process I found virtually every one of the remaining screws so loose they were ready to come off too. Can you say "Quality Control?" Also, there was also a minor dent around the outer rim which was not worth getting upset about or asking to return it. When I sent a complaint to the vendor they emailed me back and asked me to take pictures... of WHAT? -- the repaired grill or minor dentl? Then I got a call from them saying they were wondering if I was happy with their response. Gotta be kidding, right? All that said and done, I am looking forward to using this well-designed folding grill next time I go... Read more |
